NTN Deepens Community Ties with Wright-Way Rescue During Successful Adoption Event

Mt. Prospect, Ill. – NTN Bearing Corporation of America proudly partnered with Wright-Way Rescue in Morton Grove, Illinois, for a heartwarming Community Spirit & Engagement Event on Friday, July 25, 2025. A dedicated group of Chicago-based NTN employees volunteered their time and energy to support this nationally recognized organization that saves thousands of cats’ and dogs’ lives each year through its innovative transport model and compassionate care.

NTN volunteers spent the morning tidying up the facility’s gardens and parking lot, cleaning outside storage areas, organizing the cat room, washing dog bowls, and walking and socializing with dogs in preparation for the afternoon’s pool party adoption event.

Following a quick lunch at Moretti’s Ristorante & Pizzeria, the NTN team returned to Wright-Way to participate in the setup, operation, and teardown of the event. Thanks to the efforts of NTN volunteers and Wright-Way staff, five dogs found loving families, making the day a true success for everyone involved.

NTN’s relationship with Wright-Way Rescue began in October 2023, when Wright-Way reached out to the community for help replacing a van that had been totaled in an accident, leaving countless animal lives hanging in the balance. NTN saw Wright-Way’s call for help and was able to donate a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van that had been used for our technical training program. This recent Community Spirit & Engagement Event represents the continuation of NTN’s support for Wright-Way Rescue.

NTN’s new Community Spirit & Engagement Program was launched in January 2023, with the purpose of managing the company in a responsible and ethical manner and making a positive impact on the communities where we operate. The goals of the program include maintaining a community involvement program that contributes time and resources to charitable organizations, encouraging employees to have an active role within the local community, making positive contributions to the community, and building partnerships with other groups and organizations.

Wright-Way Rescue is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) animal rescue organization, focused on rescuing dogs and cats, that are very likely to be euthanized, from overpopulated shelters or abandonment. Many of these animals come from rural and southern areas of the US, so Wright-Way makes regular trips to pick them up and bring them to Illinois, where they operate as a no-kill shelter, nursing the animals to health and finding loving forever homes for over 5,000 animals each year.
