There has been a recent request for metric SN series split plummer blocks. Did you know that along with SN series split plummer blocks, NTN also offers an unitized SPW plummer block unit with a sealed spherical roller bearing that is a drop in replacement to the split SN series plummer blocks?

The NTN SPW unit is an unitized roller bearing that dimensionally interchanges to the traditional “metric” SN500 series split bearing.  Features incorporated in the design of the SPW units reduce installation time by 60% over the standard SN500 split cap bearing units by reducing the number of components needed during installation and simplifying the installation procedure.
