NTN Earns Recognition as a John Deere “Partner-level Supplier”

Mt. Prospect, IL – NTN, a global leader in bearing manufacturing, is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as a Partner-level supplier for 2017 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-level status is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating.  NTN, a supplier of rolling element bearings to John Deere’s global operation, was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality, as well as its commitment to continuous improvement.

“It is an honor for NTN to be recognized by John Deere as a Partner-level Supplier,” said Pete Eich, President and CEO, NTN Bearing Corporation of America. “At NTN, we continue to push forward with the continuous improvement, or kaizen, mindset not only in our product offering but also in our relationships with customers. Receiving this honor from Deere & Company is validation of our efforts and will only push us harder as we continue to champion the kaizen mentality.”

Suppliers who participate in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
