Welcome to our May edition of the NTN e-newsletter!
This month, we’re excited to share some valuable insights and tips on our SPAW bearing units, designed to enhance your operations and ensure optimal performance.
SPAW Bearing Units: Features and Benefits
Our SPAW bearing units are engineered to withstand high shock and impact, making them ideal for demanding environments. Here are some key features:
- Sturdy Ductile Iron Housing: One-piece design for superior durability.
- Versatile Snap Ring: Allows for flexible (fixed or float) positioning.
- Spring-Loaded, Single-Lip Heavy Contact Bearing Seal: Ensures excellent sealing and noise reduction.
- Unitized Bearing Insert: Facilitates easy replacement.
- Phosphate-Coated Locknut/Adapter Sleeve: Provides secure mounting and corrosion protection.
- 60% Faster Install Time: Our 6 components versus our competitors’ 24, allows for faster and easier installation.
Available in both inch (SPAW) and metric (SPW) sizes, our bearing units cater to various applications:
- Inch Sizes: 1 15/16” – 5 1/2” bore sizes, available as 2-bolt, 4-bolt, or solid base.
- Metric Sizes: 50mm – 140mm bore sizes, available as 2-bolt or solid base.
Our SPAW/SPW units share the same base-to-shaft-center height and bolt position as SAF/SN units, ensuring seamless interchangeability. This simplifies the transition and enhances compatibility with existing setups.
